Founded in 2001, Trusted Health Care meets the unique and specific needs of homebound patients. These patients typically have two or more chronic diseases, making it difficult for them to leave their home for primary care services. With a focus on the geriatric population, Trusted Health Care provides home-based primary care services within the patient’s place of residence.

Trusted Health Care employs physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with primary care experience. We currently serve patients throughout Dayton and the surrounding areas.

The company was founded by CEO, Dr. Jilian Waite, who also started successful Rural Clinic and Primary Care practices.

Our Core Values

Our core values are based on exceeding expectations and strengthening client relationships with each interaction while serving the entire family.

We are dedicated to assisting our clients to lead dignified, active, and independent lifestyles in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

We carefully assess and fully understand our client’s needs in order to create an appropriate care plan that will achieve desired results while providing family members peace of mind and enriching the lives of all concerned.

The primary focus of Trusted Health Care Housecall is quality in-home medical care. As such, we make housecalls to address the needs of our clients effectively and expertly without requiring our clients to get out of their homes.

For a variety of reasons, house calls make good sense. First, many diseases and illnesses are debilitating and chronic. Thus, in addition to providing actual cures and remedies, medical practitioners also provide care oversight and illness management, allowing chronically-ill patients to live their life more comfortably. Many of these homebound individuals do not have the luxury to visit a physician or advanced practice nurse on a regular basis, as well. Hospitals are discharging people as soon as possible. Therefore, people often require more intensive and more sophisticated home care services.

Home care is actually cheaper than the hospital or institutional care; the alternative to a house call is often costly ambulance transportation to the nearest hospital or physician’s office. In many cases, a physician’s home visit can prevent the need for a visit to the emergency room or hospital stay. But perhaps the biggest reason for providing home healthcare is the benefit it provides to the patient.

Trusted Health Care Housecall focuses on providing health care to the homebound. Since this is our specialty, our expert staff is fully skilled in providing the highest level of service available. We are responsive to our patients, their families, and our referral sources.

    Goal:

Making a difference in my patients’ life has been one of the most rewarding accomplishments as a physician. Being a part of this wonderful opportunity of working with Eastway makes me even more excited about helping to fill the healthcare gap that exists in the mental health community.

I personally think that in order to address the needs of adults and children with serious mental disorders, providing holistic, high-quality care to promote physical, mental, and behavioral health is essential. In fact, I currently have the privilege of offering primary care to some of the patients at other facilities owned by Eastway, Marshall House, and the Heights.

Addressing their primary care needs has resulted in significant improvements in the patient’s overall well-being. I am excited to be able to offer this care to, potentially, all Eastway’s patients through a collaboration agreement between Trusted Health Care, a primary care provider, and Eastway, a mental health provider. Creating a bridge that connects both aspects of healthcare will build a highway, which will potentially encourage all mental health patients to drive on to a better and longer life.
